does it level off?

I logged in with a question about plavix, aspirin, and ibuprofen...i wanted to include a little background info. had a heart attack when i was 35, two stents and am now 41.  other medications include coreg 25mg 2/day, procardia 60mg 2/day, diovan/hctz 160/25mg, clonidine .2mg 2/day, zocor 40mg, and anxiety meds (imagine that).  two weeks ago, my cardiologist added procardia 30mg/as needed for controlling bp in midafternoon.  i spend too much time with meds . is there anything i'm missing?  i feel like my heart is strong and still have a lot to do in life.  i know it's going to be a bumpy ride...but does it level off?

What tests have you had?  If tested what was the result? Is you heart pumping normally?  Is the heart size normal?

What information are relying on to conclude you have a strong heart?  The recent prescription for procardia is oftened for angina as it is calcium channel blocker and that indicates your heart does have some vessel occlusion problems. Just listing a regimen of drugs doesn't provide much information.

That certainly is an out of the ordinary regime of medication for post stenting, especially after 6 years. May I ask a question first, were you a heavy alcohol drinker?
