Call the doctor and report the symptom right away. You're probably okay, but you should be careful, especially at this time.
That standard "home remedies" for a fast heartbeat include stress reduction/relaxation techniques, caffeine avoidance, no chocolates or other stimulants, and, if your doctor approves it, exercise.
Congratulations on the baby and I hope you feel better soon.
Hi there sweetie,
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I personally loved being pregnant! Now, I remember with all 3 of my pregnancies having certain times where my heart would beat hard and fast. Very disturing, isn't it? I told my ob/gyn and he said it was due to the increased blood volume from the pregnancy but they still checked it out to be safe. How far along are you? I'd absolutely call my doctor to be on the safe side but I'd bet it's nothing to worry about. Just my 2 cents here, I'm not an ob/gyn! Good luck with your baby and best wishes (:
