heart cath

i had a heart cath done almost three weeks ago through my right leg.has very cold and numb when it was over took three hours to warm my leg and foot and to find a pulse in my foot. till this day my leg still feels heavy and numb why?

It can take up to three months for some people to feel back to normal because of the angioseal they use on the femoral artery to assist healing. It slowly dissolves over time and can press on the femoral nerve in some cases causing pain, numbness or tingling. If you feel the incision area, you can sometimes feel a slight lump there.
