Is thsi the poster who was told he had brugada by fax?
If so, I'd go with the 2 doctors who have actually seen me and stop worrying.

Hey, there is genetic testing available to be sure if you have Brugada or not.  I don't know if you want to go that route, but it seems like if you want a definitive diagnosis, that would be the way to go.  Look into it - there is a Brugada association you can find it you Google it.

Why don't you trust your Cardiologist what he tells you?  He says you do not have it.  A EP says you do not have it, one EP says you do.  That is two against one telling you that you do NOT have it.

While you are driving yourself and your family nuts why not make another appointment with a Cardiologist and tell him/her exactly what you told us.  Tell them that your anxiety and concern is interferring with your life, and you need to have 100% assurance whether you either have it or you don't.

Why hang in limbo, give us your EKG and test results on this board.  We are not doctors and cannot tell you what they mean, even if we were to tell you what we think they mean you would question us, and rightfully so if we are doctors.  Take these EKG/test results to a Cardiologist AND DON'T LEAVE HIS/HER OFFICE UNTIL ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED.  I never do.  If they are in a hurry that is to bad.  They are getting paid for one hour per patient,  but want to squeeze in as many patients as they can within that hour.  DON'T EVER LEAVE A DOCTOR'S OFFICE WITH QUESTIONS.  IF HE OR SHE IS NOT WILLING TO GIVE YOU THE TIME TO ANSWER THEM THEN SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR.

Do you loose consciousness, faint or pass out during one of your arrhythmia episodes? If you do, I don't think that you should wait for 3 months for follow up. What did this EP who told you that you have brugada tell you to do? Surely he wants you to follow up with him. ??? I mean a doctor can't tell you something like that and then say 'goodbye and have a nice day'. Did he recommend a defibrillator? From what I understand (and that isn't much) you and your whole family need to have genetic testing done on your blood to see who has it and who doesn't. ???????
