Stick with that medicine the whole course of treatment.  I know two girls who used it.  The first was pretty faithful, but slacked off before she was supposed to.  She still smokes.  The second decided it made her stomach feel woozie, she still smokes too.  Stick it out!   Every time you want a cig, make yourself walk for the 10-15 minutes it would take to smoke it.  If you are where you cannot walk, find something to divert yourself.  Another step, go in your closet and smell you clothes.  Nasty, huh?  Smell your curtains...nasty...  Take a rag with cleaner on it and wipe the wall nearest to where you usually sit smoking...that yellow gung, yep, that is what is coating your lungs.  Nasty nasty nasty.

great!  like i said, you know what you need to do.  Hey, by the way...think about every excuse you make to smoke and figure out if they are real or just real BS.  You will surprise yourself and then you can start taking care of that issue too!

well, teena, I am glad you are seeing the doctor soon.  You have already mentioned taking care of a lot of things that can imporve your health.  DIet and exercise (housework/yardwork).  Make sure to ask the doctor about help to stop smoking.  I hear tell there is some magic pill or something these days.  Shantrig or something like that.  Yes, BP will vary all day.  I dont know all that much about panic attacks fortunately, but when I start tensing up I just try to steady myself with deep breathing exercises.  If I concentrate on that, the tension releases.  Make yourself a list of the questions you have and ask the doctor to help you answer them.  Ask if he has literature about diet to lower cholesterol.  Good luck.

teena, you just went all over the place with words that I finally figured out nothing.  Lets try...
You have anxiety issues.  You have been treated for HBP for a couple years.  When you went to the dr for an infection your blood pressure was high.  Bear in mind that most of us have a higher BP at the doctor.  (White coat syndrome) Because it seemed high you paniced and it got higher.  You have determined that any activity will casue you to die by rocketing your BP.  So now, to try to make it lower you plan on being sedentary so nothing will affect it?  Do you have any other health issues.  Do you smoke?  Do you eat properly?  Do you have a set exercise routine?  Give some information.
