17 Year Old with Flattened t wave on EKG

I am seventeen years old and about 6 months ago I started to notice that at night my heart would begin to race.  I checked my pulse and it was 184 bpms.  Most nights my heart begins to race and to contract and cause a lot of pain.  I have had a few fainting spells and it was noticed that when I would sit lie down my blood pressure drops immediatly to about 90/40. Iwent to a doctor to get an EKG and theresults were flattened t waves and I am not sure if I should really be concerned about heart disease or cardic issues at my age.  I have a appoinment with a pediatric cardioligist and I am wondering if my symptoms should really be of concern.

Your condition may or may not be serious.  It could be a chemical imbalance, improper diet, etc. or an EKG signal abnormality.  Your symptoms should be evaluated by a cardiologist, and that is what you are doing.
