Hello and hope you are doing well.

Check your heart rate, this will give an indication of the effects of your medications. Beta Blockers usually reduce the heart rate. Also, occasional palpitations are a common occurrence. So, if the medication is affecting your heart rate and delaying your conception, you can consult your doctor to reduce the medications.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Dear Dr.Anitha,
Thanks very much for your kind reply, I’m 38 years old married women and Currently we are living in Maldives,
Above both tables currently I’m using for palpitations, i don't have chest pain.
Medicine used history as below
•Actually previously I was use calaptin 20mg (BD),
• then two  years before when i was sick (viral fever) increase my palpitation then doctor add 40Mg (BD)
•Again one year before when i was sick (gastritis) with increase my palpitation then doctor add 80Mg (BD) but not control my palpitations, because of that doctor   add inderal 20mg(BD) as well.(currently using dose)

Now i haven’t feeling palpitations but some time feeling bit palpitation if i sick and weakness.

From begging above medicine given physician now not available in maldives,
new  physician said continue same medicine  but  if I use both medicine together,  it will be risk.
Here not available any cardiologist, so realy i'm  in trouble,

Furthermore, i would like ask question regarding pregnancy, I don‘t have baby because of using above medicine we have delaying it,

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Mitral valve prolapse or MVP if it is not causing any symptoms you do not need therapy. However as you have palpitations beta blockers like inderal are helpful. Calaptin was it for the chest pain? Check with your doctor regarding this.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
