I've had a murmur for as long as I can remember. I've read that it's not unusual to have "trace" or "mild" valve leakage. The docs rate them and as long as it's very slight we can go on about our business with no trouble. I imagine the doctor will check on it again later, maybe a few years down the road.

Hi , I am 35 F and the Dr just picked up that I have a murmur ,so I went for the echo-cardio .The test  showed that , I have a small leak in the valve..The Dr said I would have to have a echo every year and take antobics before dental work....Right now I am over weight and I am hoping by taking off the weight , that it may help the valve..best wishes
