Have you taken your heart rate during this racing period?
Laying down you can always feel your heart beats more because of the way the heart settles. Is the rate regular? Do you feel throbbing or a fullness in your neck? Do any or your immediate family members have known heart conditions?

i've already done it several days ago and it's all normal. my appetite is
normal. the doctor said it's because of my habits of drinking too much
coffee. it's been several days now since i stop drinking coffee but the
problem still persist.

Hi, is your appetite normal? if in addition to palpitations you have increased appetite and if you are losing weight, check with your doctor to rule out hyperthyroidism, in which there is an excessive production of thyroxin. Palpitation and tremors can be seen with this disorder besides, thinning of hair, irritability, diarrhea, nervousness, insomnia, heat intolerance and fatigue. This can be diagnosed by a simple blood test. So, I would advise you to consult your doctor for an evaluation of the thyroid profile. Regards.
