I am so tired about anxiety theory... thanks for info. Sometimes there are cases that r out of the box!  I have told er drs that I can feel whether its the bottom of my heart or a top of my heart palpitation..they think i am crazy.  It is not in the books but i want to let  u know I feel each and every palpitation and can tell u if it is a pac or a pvc .....if u hook me up long enough you would see i am telling the truth!  Why do I feel/ Have this is the question?

Sincerely,

Jennifer Genovese

Hi, the commonest cause for palpitations is anxiety. Palpitations are usually not related to posture. Besides anxiety, palpitations can occur due to hyperthyroidism( overactive thyroid), arrhythmias (altered electrical system of the heart), certain medications, heart failure, anemia and low blood sugar. So, if your symptoms persist consult your doctor for an evaluation. Regards.
