I can only speak for myself because from what I have observed, different people recover at very different speeds. I used to think that the older a person, the longer they would take to recover but that proved nonsense. I had my triple at 47 and there were 70 year
olds recovering much quicker than me and becoming fitter. Although my bypass failed
after three months, I remember having terrible chest pains from the surgery for 6 months.
It was not until a year after surgery that I could turn over in bed with no discomfort. There
were times I felt that I would never heal but it does eventually happen. Just to clarify something though, it was obvious that my bypass failed because I was suddenly on my
knees gasping for breath while I was out walking. So please don't automatically assume I
am saying yours has. I had bad shortness of breath and prior to that I had light headed spells. Depression can set in because you get fed up waiting to recover and the trauma
of surgery etc can affect you. As time goes by, you will feel better and the depression
soon starts to go. If you feel something is wrong, just have a chat with your doctor but
you sound to me like you're going down the usual path.
