Your heart has a natural pacemaker (sinus node) that generates an impulse that follows a pathway to contract vetricles. Arrhythmia (fast irregualr heartbeats) could exist due to sinus node or electrical conduction along the pathways or heart tissue.
"Many people have fast or slow heartbeats that may be regular or irregular. These are called "arrhythmias." They can develop for the first time during pregnancy in a woman with a normal heart or as a result of previously unknown heart disease".
what is sinus arrhythmia? a irregular heart rhythm! I am just learning bits and pieces through this forum and would rather have someone else answer, for personal educational reasons. However by answering and asking for corrections I again educate my self. So... Arrythmia's are very common, some are dangerous but most are nothing more than annoying. I typed in "sinus arrhythmia" into Google and come up with a lot of information to get a basic Idea. Your Dr is the only one who can say why you have this and if there are any problems.
