You may want to ask the doctor to do a nuclear medicine test to see how the heart functions under stress and and in a resting state, to see if there are areas of the heart that are not receiving the kind of oxygen it should.  Did they do any cardiac enzyme blood testing to look for elevations?

Please keep questions on one thread.  I don't know the information you are referring to on previous question.  An EKG showing a heatbeat of 59 to 80 is within the normal range of 60 to 100.  Has the doctor acknowledged there is a heart problem?  An EKG is not very reliable source for anything other than heart rhythm disorders and there is no information why a normal beat is considered abnormal.

Was the medication for chest pain?  If there is chest pain and related to the heart, medication will relieve any chest pain.
