i have both pacemaker & defibrillator wired into my heart

what would my options be if one of te leads
came loose & started to deteriate from defibrillator

If this were to happen you should let your physician know right away.  You will likely need replacement of the lead.

It should not be any problem, once detected, they will re-emplace and install another one or just connect it back.

The detection can be made at any ICD revision.
