Do I need a Heart Cath?

I had triple bypass in 2009 I went for a echocardiogram and thallium stress test in February of this year  and both were abnormal.  They say I need a heart cath to see if I have other problems going wrong.  what is your suggestion?

I would fully agree with the other replies. There is also a possibility that one of the bypasses has formed a blockage.

Absolutely! I have had multiple MIs and as such have been in a cath lab about 10 times. If I had any doubts I would want to have one.  Go for it. Take care, Ally

Go for it. You absolutely need it if they had found your other tests abnormal. I had one, hope never need it again, but it wasn’t painful at all! It is actually interesting to see on the big monitor in front of you what is inside and they will tell you right away, or very soon what they see, for me it was  good news. Wish the same for you!
