High heart rate brings on strong confusion

If I sit down and do one set of bench presses my head feels weird, like it fills up with fluid and I cant think properly, almost faint like feelings but more towards fluid build up and exstream confusion. Veins in my head twitch. My eyes seem to get effected by this also, blurry vision. My ears feel like there is wax build up but there clean. The feeling is almost in-exsplainable. It seems like even when I get stressed out it happens but not as strong as when i do a set of anything. With lite exsertion I can feel this feeling coming on so I take a ativan and it will go away. I also get out of breath easily with a short jog. 50 ft. Im fine if im walking. Its like when my heart rate goes up fast after a set it comes on strong, real strong. I used to work out to help with anxiety (and it work) but now i cant. Im on 10mg of lisinapril for my blood pressure which if i take every other day my bp stays normal. My uric acid levels are high, colesteral high, but Im eating better and they are coming down quikly. I just got over my first case of gout last month, so i changed my diet. I have been to my family doc and he sent me to a noroligest who wanted to put me on anxiety meds like cymbolta.  I have a feeling this is more then just anxiety.  thanks for any help, Mike

Thank you for sharing:
Your condition doesn't materially related to a heart problem.  All the symptoms you describe can be due to anxiety and the treatment with ativan. If the dosage of Ativan is not correct there can be palpitation - Unusual and not normal heartbeat, that is sometimes irregular, but rapid and forceful thumping or fluttering.
