vibrating

I've had this for years now but just ignore it. I'm absolutely certain it isn't my heart. It isn't just in my chest either, if seems to come from several places at once. Every single morning I wake up and feel it, it's similar to a shivering but fainter and inside the body. I have also noticed it doesn't happen only when I wake, it also happens when I feel over tired. Now, it may be just a coincidence but it all started after I had a bad episode of sleep apnea. I've only had it once, after I had 5 stents put into my LAD in one procedure. I woke up and for some reason I couldn't control my lungs, they were stuck in the inhaled position. I was trying to gasp but couldn't get my diaphram to move. It seemed like an eternity but was about 30 seconds and suddenly I could breathe again. I went to ER and they diagnosed sleep apnea and kept me overnight for observation. That was in 2009 and hasn't happened since, but I've had the strange shivering. Maybe the two things are related.

When I wore the BP monitor for 24 hours it did show my pressure quite low before I woke up, perhaps there's a relationship there. There a lots of people over the internet trying to resolve this odd sensation.

I am awakened at night occasionally with this. I have never found out what it's like my cell pone is going off in my chest.

it would appear that quite a number of people seem to feel these shiverings. I know if I am laying down VERY tired and get those feeling, if I stand up and start to walk around they disappear in less than a minute.

You are not alone. My wife has it too, but she says, there is ants moving around in my chest and/or neck. She went to see the doctor, but he is stumped and suggested tests, however, didn't specify what kind of tests. She doesn't have your other health problems that you alluded to so, therfore, I doubt that it is related to those.
