Hi, Thank you for your reply, yes when i am sitting at a computer or watching tv my heart rate was 100/140.I was on a 24 hour recording monitor and was told when i was sleep my rate was droping to 28.
the beta blocker caps are delayed release and yes the doctor did know about the sleeping low rate. I have been to my gp today he has told me to take just 80mg dose and see how it goes and come back monday.my heart rate today now as i am writeing this is 51.
many thanks
I don't understand what "working".. is that sitting at a computer or shoveling coal? If the first case 100/140 sounds a bit high, if the latter not so high. 28 is a very low rate, how do you know that happens, were you on a recording monitor?
If you doctor put you on a (beta blocker?) to lower you HR, did he/she know about the rater low rate when sleeping?
If the beta blocker is a normal release, not an extended or delayed release, and you take your 160 mg dose in the morning, most of its strength will be gone by the time you go to sleep.
