Thank you so much for your information. As I read all the post it looks like its just another one of those things we have to learn to live with. I am glad you respond to peoples questions. Thanks again :)
The "thump" could be the big beat right after the compensatory pause. It goes something like this: Your heart will feel like it is skipping beats, but really...it beats and then tries to beat again (too quickly), then pauses, then THUMP. That does feel weird, but with normal tests, it's OK.
Thank you...yes still symptomatic...and I do feel a lot of palpitations still all during the day. It began as a flutter that made you want to cough or clear your throat. But the past 2 weeks It seems to be a harder thump...no longer the "tickle" it was before. I seem to stay tired all of the time. I am glad that the test do not show anything "Bad" ...I suppose it is just the way the Cardio Doc words things.
deltadrlyn,
I don't think your doctor is dismissing your complaints so much as he is saying the timing of what you feel does not correlate to an abnormal rhythm. This is not to say that what you're feeling isn't happening, but it is not in relation to an arrythmia.
What is it that you are feeling when you record an episode?
I'm not a doctor, but your Holter looks relatively unremarkable. Are you still symptomcatic? Is it possible that you are having palpitations (the sensation of one's own heartbeat) and not ectopic beats?
