Hi,

Please remember that no one on this forum is required to answer questions. Also, most of us answer questions about things we are familiar. I have suffered with benign arrhythmias, yet have no experience with ablation. I don't even try to answer questions about ablations, since information that is blatantly wrong (since I have no experience) can be harmful to people trying to make decisions.

In the case of your question, I drove myself nuts trying to find an answer from a credible site on the internet that I would be able to quote from. Just as maggiemag said, I could not find anything substantial.

I realize how frustrating it is, but realize the frustration of people that spend some of their time answering questions for others, but often do not even get the slightest word of thanks. One gentleman asked questions on several occasions, and I answered. He would then start a new post and ask the same question again, which I answered. He never wrote back to anyone on the forum and expressed his gratitude. I later saw his question to the Doctors, and they essentially answered him the same way I did. His case was simple, the Doctors are needed to answer questions where the person's life may be involved, if not directly, perhaps indirectly from decisions that they make in regard to any answer. I believe that people correctly avoid answering questions that may steer you in the wrong direction.

There is an "Ask the Doctor" forum on this site. There is a $25 fee for an answer, possibly a bargain for a person concerned about a problem. Sometimes the answers are vague, by necessity, as the Doctor has not examined the questioner and has no direct knowledge of their problems.

Consulting another Doctor would also be a possibility for you. If I feel that a Doctor is not taking me seriously enough, I'll get a Second Opinion. You can also ask your Doctor to order a 30 Day Loop Event Monitor so that, when your daughter has symptoms, she can record them and phone the results to the technical center.

I wish you and your Daughter the best.

Hi.  I am an RN and maybe I've been out of hospital work too long, but I have not heard of J waves before.  If your physician told you his opinion and you still don't believe it, I would suggest you seek another opinion.  Then you might have some piece of mind over your child.
