Thanks for the opinion. IT,s the simplicity of the device that make me wonder if I should go with the classic Holter. You can see it there : https://www.cardiostat.com/home/
Speaking from a non-professional point of view, I'd go the the 7 day monitor. You are looking for a basic answer to what you are experiencing. The 7 day will do just that. I'm not familiar with the unit, but I would assume that it has a limited number of leads for user simplicity. This in turn gives the professional basic information on your cardiac waveform. A 7-day also increases the odds in your favor that you will experience whatever's going on.
Thanks for that opinion. Since it's not the same device use in the 48 hours and the 7 days, I was wondering if the newest one (7 days) got the same efficiency.
Since you have a choice, I'll give my opinion!
If you do not experience symptoms daily. Go for the 7 Day! This ensures you capture your symptoms.
If you experience daily symptoms but simply want to be absolutely certain you get an accurate recording go for 48.
Coronary issues are detected by stress testing, catheterization, ct scans, MRI and nuclear medicine studies. A holter will not yiekd any information here.
