A fib what are the chances this is an isolated incident?

I am 29 yo and 11 weeks pregnant with my fifth child. Two and a half weeks ago I landed in the ER with an episode of a fib. I was given Cardizem through an IV until about 17 hrs later my heart went back into a normal rhythm.  Since then my heart was monitored for 24hrs and I was given the option of taking Cardizem by mouth. I declined taking the Cardizem due to unknown possible effects on the baby. My heart was checked with EKG and ECHO and all appeared normal. I do not drink and I was taking in a limited amounted of caffeine at the time.  My two questions are what are the chances this will never happen again? Secondly, I am really really fatigued as well as experiencing dizziness it seems that everyone is attributing this to pg but I am wondering? This is all so bizzare to me and I feel like I have no idea what to expect any answers are much appreciated.

Most of us have some temporary heat rhythm anomalies from time-to-time, so given you've been checked out and you are back in normal rhythm I suggest trying to put it out of your mind.

Given this is your fifth child, you are an expert on how you should feel carrying a baby, so if dizziness is unusual, I'd suggest taking care not be sure you are not dizzy before going down stairs or other risky activity and if it get worse to take it up again with your doctor.

I have no specific experience with AFib and pregnancy, but I still offer the possibility that the AFib was a single occurrence and will not return any time soon.  But, given many people develop AFib in their later years, the fact that you had this one episode also suggest you may in the higher risk group to develop AFig when you approach 60, that's what happen to me.  Given I am a male, my experience may be less relative than other inputs you may get.

Good luck on your heart and delivery.
