Tachycardia at age 22? Also, should I worried about this medicine?

So I've been diagnosed with Tachycardia, and a bit of high blood pressure which to me makes me sad at this age. So my heart was in good health, but only the tachycardia remained intact. I was prescribed Ternomin for two weeks, and to stop it after one week to see how I felt without using it. Here is my concern, I heard it can be dangerous stopping this drug all of a sudden, and it has me quite worried. it is prescribed, but it still worries me that I might get worse, or something bad might happen. I'm due to another appointment next week and I just want to get through the week. So should I be worried about this?

Well my rate was normal while taking the medicine, and felt great. But 3-4 days after I stopped, I felt my heart beats a bit faster but not to the level when I had an episode. No thyroid issues, but definitely need to get some exercises done. As well as lifestyle changes cause I am overweight and that might be causing my bp to go up. Stress and anxiety also seem to be playing a role here. I just want to be sure medications aren't affecting me. Thanks for your concern by the way.

Depending on your rate tachcyardia in general isn't a huge concern for doctors.  So how fast is your rate?  Is it constantly fast or do you have episodes where it get fast in what feels like one beat and it stops just as quickly?  Is it a gradual rise and slow down or sudden?  In any event you may need to get a full work up to rule out things like thyroid issues or electrolyte imbalances as well work on lifestyle changes like drinking lots of water, tending to stomach issues and dealing with stress and anxiety.  As well getting more exercise.  I wish you the best of luck sorting this out.  Hope you feel better soon.

are you on any other medicine particularly thyroid?

also do afresh thyroid test, tsh, free t3 and free t4.

reason why i said so is because i too got this tachycardia and high bp when my free t4 is slightly high in the range though my tsh and t3 all normal. i consulted a cardiologist and he said its due to anxiety and gave me some beta blocker to take everyday. but i just reduced the thyroid medicine dose and tachycardia went away within few days.
