Are missed heart beats normal?
I recently have been experiencing palpatations, as a result I wore a monitor for 24 hrs. In that 24 hrs I had 900 missed beats. I was just wondering if this is common or not?
I don't know what kind of missed beat they were, but I was just checking because my doc. acted like it was nothing and I was just covering my bases. Thank you for your responses.
"missed beats" can mean a few different things. Were they ectopic beats, escape beats, pauses?

You should ask your doctor about the missed beats... I hope he/she said something, most likely "nothing wrong".
Given most people have about 100,000 heart beats a day, 900 isn't very many missed, less than 1%. If the missed beats are grouped, that is close together, not distributed over the whole 24 hour period, that would be another factor, I think.
