Atrial tachycardia abliation

I had an ablation done for atrial tachycardia on February 15th.  Since then things have been up and down and I knew that i would still have palpitations for a few months after.  A few days ago Me being not the smartest person in the world, went out with some friends.  When I was out there I drank some alcohol.  Which I obviously understand was a bad decision.  The next day I had some pretty strong palpitations for a while.  Now I am feeling better still with some crappy moments.  My question is did I just completely ruin the results of the ablation because of my bad and dumb decision?

Alcohol in moderation might be ok.  I dont see that as a bad and dumb decision unless your doctor advised you not to have any alcohol, or you over did it.

You might ask your doctor as to what restrictions you have.  I dont believe that alcohol in moderation could lead to permament heart damage; however, it may cause you some palpitations, short term.  Long term, let's hope you find that your palpitations subside...
