Dizziness

Hello,
I am a 31 year old male no history of medical problems. Recently it was very hot and I had some beers as well and then fell asleep. Upon waking up I climbed up some stairs and then went to use the bathroom while using the bathroom towards the end I began to feel faint and dizzy I didn't pass out but felt lightheaded while finishing using the toilet. This hasn't happened before. 3 months ago I had general check ups not for this just in General ECG EKG bloodwork and stress test all was normal so I don't think this would be related to heart. What are your thoughts please.

I agree, sounds like dehydration, which lowers your blood pressure.  Also, when you get up from sitting or floor this causes a temporary drop in blood pressure - dizziness is the result of low blood pressure.

Drink more water, keep your blood pressure normal.

you are good to go.

Yes, if there was a problem you would have a ongoing issues so try not to fret.

Thanks for your response. What I noticed is that the heat rate slowed down guess due to drop in bp,  as I was using the bathroom. I did seem to be dehydrated and I had not had any water. It hasn't happened again since. I guess if it was to do with the heart it would have happened several times right?

Only a doctor can say for sure but it sounds purely a case of dehydration causing a dip in your bp.  You may have felt your heart beating faster but it was caused by external reasons and not an issue with the heart itself.  Make sure you drink lots of water after a night of drinking and you should wake feeling better.

Thanks for the response. Do you think it could have had something to do with the heart? As mentioned I had a complete check up 3 months ago  which was all good can something change in that time ?

im not a doctor, but in my experience "heat" and "alcohol" arent good together.

Alcohol is a diuretic. So if you were a little dehydrated (hot day, could have been) and you had some beers and went to bed, you could have very well woke up dehydrated.
