Insertion of loop monitoring device for heart -

Hello I was wondering if anyone can help - earlier today I had a Reveal Linq monitor inserted in my chest. I just got home few hours ago and its really painful (even after pain killers). It really hurts when I bend down. It is bleeding (as far as I can see on the dressing) but not much. Just wanted to see what the level of pain and discomfort is like on the day one  of  insertion and how long it lasts as I am travelling overseas tomorrow and not sure if this level of pain is normal. Well, basically someone cut you open and stuck a usb stick under your skin.. So yeah it's probably normal to hurt for a few days. I would be concerned if you co,tinue having these synptoms after about 5 -7 days though.
