Fast heart beat.

Dr. Doctor I'm a 35 year old female and once in a while I get pappitaitons. I saw a cardiologst 3 years ago that told me I was fine. I did an echo, and stress test, also an ekg. Yesturday I went for a physical and everything was great. They even did an ekg. Today I was talking on the phone and my heart was beating very fast and strong for about 9 seconds and then just stopped. I called the doctor and she was off. When I  called my cardiologist they told me they couldn't make me an emergency appt. today because now I'm considered a new patient. I made one for 6 days from now with a new cardio. Do you think this is serious?????

No, it's almost certainly not dangerous.

The doctor doesn't read this board though.  Try the expert heart rhythm board to ask the doctor a question.
