SVT and lLabetalol

Hi! After a really bad SVT where I ended up in A& E, my Dr perscribed Labetalol 400mg per day.
I have had three bad SVT's over 5 years, which lasted between 2 and 3 hours, but hardly anything in between, but since taking the meds for a month I have had a few very small SVT's which last only seconds and stop when I hold my noise and blow.
Would the meds be making this happen.

Thank you for your comments. Yes I am in the UK.So I am very lucky with healthcare.
I am type 2 diabetes also.
At the moment I am taking Metformin 2000 mg per day. I have juust started to take the full 2000 mg and oh! my tummy!!
But the blood sugar is going down now, thank goodness and I do feel lots better.

Good,if labetalol minimize the svt episode then i think this is a magical medicine.

I'm sorry to hear your SVT attacks.  I suppose you're in the UK, you'll be proper looked after by your doctors.  

Med suppose to help to reduce SVT reoccuring but some med can have a reversal.  I reported once to my doctor that the Kinidin Durules caused palpitations but they didn't believe it.  I believe it if any one here to complaint.

I also get palpitations if my sugar is too high.   I am a type II diabetes.  Diagnosed in 2008.  What kind of diabetes med do you take?
