The only BP numbers I know about are the "at rest" numbers and in the USA the recommendation is below 120/80. I think the BP goes up when one exercises... not sure but it seems it would as the HR goes up to feed oxygen to the muscles.
I wouldn't worry about 125, but it is worth keeping an "eye" on .. check a few times a week would be enough I think. If it tends to drift higher you should discuss with a doctor telling him you have a record, yes, keep a record, date, time, BP. This means much more than the one reading taken in the doctor's office. There is also the question of "calibration", how accurate are your readings? Most pharmacy stores in the USA have a fee self-service BP test machine. I almost always check mine there when I can, I assume they are reasonably accurate.

However, if the preponderance of readings are on the high end, you may need to talk with a doctor about a BP medication. The 140 number is troubling if it is "normal" ... frequent.
