Sounds like you need a new GP. Yes, Tachy can be completely normal if it is from anxiety, stress, exercise, drugs, food intake, stuff like that. However, if you are just sitting there and you experience tachy, it could be inappropriate tachy, I think you need to wear a holter monitor to capture one of these events. You can never be to safe when it comes to your heart and your doctor should realize this. If your episodes are speced far apart, maybe you could wear an event monitor so you can capture the event when it happens. Have you taken your pulse to see exactly how fast your heart beats during an episode???? More than likely you probably are OK, but probably is not a great answer when it comes to your health. Definitively is a much better word for that! I feel sorry for people that are stuck with **** insurance and HMO's. I feel blessed I have a PPO so if I dont like my doctor, I go to someone that will listen. Hope you get better!
