Help With PVCS

ive posted many times on here im 22 m my symptoms are i feel my heart beat all day long with occasional pvcs and what i think is couplets im not sure its sometimes 3 extra beats or more in a row then normal rhythm, even when i don't have any extra beats i still feel my heart beating all day long usually harder then what i think is normal and what it was before all this started

im on 50mg of atenolol in the morning and 50 at night it helps slow my heart rate down and make the beats feel lighter but but still feel it all day long and still have pvcs..

im thinking about possibly getting my dr to wean me off of the atenolol since i don't think its making that much of an impact, and as my dr says what im feeling is symptoms theres no underlining problem this past year ive has 2 stress tests, chest xrays, several ekgs,2 echocardiograms, blood tests and everything is perfect besides what showed up on the halter so basically i don't need meds to treat this as you all know already if the heart is normal then there is no concern in terms of danger.

so my reason for posting is i would like to compile a list of all the possible things that can help relieve pvcs whether it be lifestyle things herbal stuff i want to try to get a full list of all the possible things i can try to alleviate some of my symptoms thanks alot i hope to have alot of responses and ideas

Ditto on sueinns comments.  My PVCs were pretty pervasive, always around.  Some of the triggers (lack of sleep, MSG, caffeinated beverages) made them worse, but I never found a natural method for getting rid of them. Some people find that yoga, meditation, or relaxation techniques work for learning to accept the PVCs.

Except for some herbs that a few people have mentioned, I've tried it all with limited success.  We need to keep in mind that, in most cases, this is an adrenalin/electrical problem with the heart and not related to mineral deficiencies.

My experience with PVC's is they tend to be chronic and not any one thing will keep them away for long.  That being said, there are some triggers.

Alcohol
Caffeine
Stress
Eating a big meal
Lying on your left side or just lying down
Low potassium or magnesium
Hypothyroidism
Perimenopause
Being athletic

So avoiding alcohol, caffeine and stress (yeh, right), eating light meals, taking potassium and/or magnesium supplements, and having your thyroid and hormone levels checked may help.

Some people find drinking really cold water or meditating makes a difference.  I find that, for me, taking control and simply ignoring the little suckers works best.
