Help needed

Well, i am 15 years old, and lately i have been feeling a bit weird,  i would feel like i am having shortness of breath, well tonight, i was about to go to sleep, i went to lay down and notcied my heart was beating fast, well now i am having a fast heart beat and it is getting to were it is quite hard to breath, it will stop after a while then start again, what should i do, i dont want to totally scare my family, because my mother who just passed away 2 months ago died of a asthma attack. I know she also had thyroids, i just need to know whats going on here and what to do

Also is this something thats an emergency or can wait to go to the hospital or emergency room? Because its 11:30 at night, and i dont want to wake everyone up, since its bad some of the time, but not all of it, and i can still breath

I have checked my pulse and my heart is beating fast some of the time then my pulse is very weak some of the time
