thanks very much for posting -it's good to hear similar stories!
Glad to know your ablation was a success. I was awake and aware during my ablation in September '07. I experienced no pain, though, so it went OK. My bad pathway was also very near my AV Node. I was given an 80% success rate afterwards because they couldn't get as close as they really wanted to. At my 3 month follow-up, I had been episode free, so I was told that I only have a 2% chance of every having anymore SVT. I'm now 8 months out from the procedure and haven't had any SVT episodes at all, but I do get some PVC's now and then. Hope all goes well for you from here on out!!
Not sedated enough?? YIKES!!! If you go back, be sure to mention that you'd take to take a "better" vacation : )
Keep us posted and let us know how you're doing. Have a wonderful weekend!!
Hi rosetoes : )

I think the main problem for me was not being sedated enough!!! and I'm a big wimp!!!
bumble72.....GREAT news on the ablation success. I'm sorry if the experience was not what you expected. I can't understand why some people have more difficulty than others....technique, location, facility???
Very happy to hear of the success!!!
