Just looking for a bit of reassurance

I know logically that I am ok, but today I have had a lot more skipped beats than usual. I am 12 weeks pregnant, and I know that contributes to the ectopics. It seems that every time I get up, move around, swallow or bend, I get a sensation of my heart speeding up and some skips. Oddly, if I hop onto the treadmill and exercise I get no skips at all. My husband says it is like my heart's "first gear" is a bit off. I have had bad morning sickness, and when my stomach feels bad, the skips are worse. Anyway, just wondering if any of the ladies here have experienced similar during pregnancy. I sure could use some reassurance!

After all those tests....now I'm sure you are fine.
I get IST too.  It does feel better to know someone else has gone through similar issues so let us know how things are going!  Yes, it does feel awful.  I have found that just a little worrying makes mine ten times worse.  Sometimes it helps to go to the doctor and let him tell you that you are okay.  That works for me.  They settle down within a day sometimes after he says not to worry.

Thank you so much for the reply. Sometimes just hearing that someone else has been through something similar and is fine really helps to calm me. I had 2 ablations for IST in 2003 and countless EKG's, stress tests, echo's, and Holters since then, so I doubt it is anything sinister. But still, it feels awful. Thank you for the reassurance, I really needed it!

I had horrible skips during my pregnancy.  The vagus nerve is stimulated from the morning sickness and it becomes a vicious cycle.  That on top of the hormonal shifts can make it really miserable.  Mine reacted to the same things, getting up, bending over, even lifting my arms up over my head.
They did get better around the 5th month and I went to my doctor and even did a treadmill test and he said everything was fine and not to worry about the skips.
If you have had your heart checked out, then don't worry.  They will fade away.
Congrats and try to relax...they really mean nothing.
