Probably the best options are UC Davis (Sacramento), UCSF or UCLA. If you belong to Kaiser, their Santa Clara EP center or Los Angeles EP center would be ok as well because they do a high volume of procedures/cases. Best wishes to you in getting your condition resolved.
It is important to know how skilled the centers are at treating your arrhythmia.
Hi Aaron, Where abouts in CA are you located?
What do you mean like crazy? In a row, how many do you think, how long? It is possible you were having pacs not pvcs. You can't really be certain without an evaluation. In any event if whatever was going on stopped quickly and didn't cause you to pass out or anything like that then it is likely still nothing to worry about.
Something happent to my heart that never happend before just yester day when i held my breath for 30 seconds when i let go my heart was getting pvc's like crazy D:
Unfortunately i cant go for the ecg until my mon can find my medical papers she says she will need to get a copy of them
Because of your young age your heart has the ability to run faster than older folks so it could all be anxiety and panic related or even just an unconditioned heart that would settle down with consistent exercise but you still need to be evaluated by a doctor. So just have your parents take you in for a check up and let them know your concerns. And try drinking lots of water and see if that helps your issues. Take care.
To be honist i am pritty sure i got anxiety
It's a good question to ask. Aspergers in and of itself would not cause a high heart rate but if you have anxiety with your aspergers then that could be part of the problem. But you should be checked out by a doctor to get a definitive diagnosis on what is causing the fast heart beat.
I do have aspergers is there any chance this could be causeing this? (Just a randome question)
130-140 is kind of high for just standing so you could have something like orthostatic hypotenstion or POTS or even dysutonomia but you need to be checked out. If you do not have an svt that can be corrected there are meds that can help slow your rate down a bit so you can function better but you need to be evaluated by a cardiologist first. Make sure you are eating well and drink lots of water. That should help.
When i stand up i goes strait to 130-140 bpm and stays there till i lay back down is this still not normal?
It would likely be svt though you need to be checked for an svt called wpw which does affect both the atria and ventricles. I suspect that you may get a heart monitor to wear for a day or two or an event monitor for a month to try and track what your heart is doing during the day when you exercise. I would also ask to be tested for thyroid issues if you haven't. Best of luck. Please let us know what the doctors say.
The only time i ever fell tired and dizzy from this is when i stand up from laying down for a long time i fell dizzy for a few seconds. Also is this considered as VT or SVT?
Well if your having an ECG in 3 days, your sorted. Put the Stet away and forget about it. Let the professional do the testing, forget checking yourself
Also i dont know if its just me or my stethoscope but i think i may have arrhythmia?
Im getting a ecg in 3 days
I suggest a trip to your Doctor, to be on the safe side. Best to check this out, Its probably nothing, but its concerning you, so go to doctor soon
