Hi jimgreg- Reading your question it sure sounds like you do have a pretty extended medical respiratory and cardiac history by the medications you listed. PAC/PVC's are no different really when looking at the heart rhythm. The only difference is where the beat falls in the Rhythm whether it happens at your ventricular beat or you atrial beat. A lot of different things can cause your heart to throw these funky beats. A lot of times it can be stress or whatever but honestly most of the time its usually because your magnesium and/or potassium levels are off. When these levels are off your body reacts by doing these funky things trying to show you something is wrong. If left untreated it can lead to vtach, chest pain, and much more. My advise if this continues... Make an appointment with your Primary Care Doctor to get some lab work done and an EKG. Its better to be safe than sorry.

I hope you get to feeling better soon!
