Long pause then pvc's

OH MAN, this was a crazy event and i'm rattled as I write this.  I felt some flip-flops this morning so I decided to put on my Polar exercise heart monitor to hear what's happening if it comes up again.  I was sitting at my computer when my beeping stopped for 3 seconds and I could feel being off in the heart.  Then I got 2-3 quick beats in a row followed by regular beat followed by pvc's on and off, then tachy. I was feeling all the flip-flopping in correclation the the abnormal beats.
I thought the pause is compensatory.  My heart was beating regularly prior to the pause.  And is this too long of a pause, 2-3 seconds?  I'm so concerned right now.  Thank you for your inputs.

Hi there - if you are really concerned, you may want to ask your cardio about this.  I'm not too sure how long a compensatory pause should be, maybe someone else can help out with that.  In any case, a call to your cardio is not a bad idea.

Good luck!

Thank you, I wish you the same.
This is the unfortunate thing, getting blasted by the BIG unusual spasms just when you think you can now handle it a little better.
I just don't know what to do anymore to move past this.......
I want them gone completely, but they keep coming.  I try to accept them, and I fail daily.
It's so sad how this arrhythmia has altered me and my life.  I have given words of encouragement to others here, but I have a hard time soothing myself.
I'm having a hard time.

That sounds a lot like what I felt one night that woke me from my sleep...I was very scared and it really had be frazzled for several hours afterwards.  I hope you are feeling better now.
