Its really comferting thanks alooooooot . I will keep doing my best .. at least now i am less worried ..thx dear
I assume this was a 24 hour monitor. That is quite a few pvcs 10,000, not many at all pacs 20 with the total number of beats for the day being 130,000 making your average heart rate 90bpm. This means the total number of beats that were ectopics is around 8%. It only gets alarming to the doctors when you reach something like 20% and even then the current thinking is it is still only a concern if the heart is unhealthy. Ectopics to some degree are natures safety net so in that respect so they are generally considered a normal phenomenon of the heart. They are also very hard to treat and treatment doesn't always work or makes the situation worse so you are right now in the high but not dangerous zone. Hopefully this is just a phase that will pass. that said, I personally had a period were I was having as many or even possibly a bit more and it made me feel very sick so I can sympathize. But for most they come and go and these really terrible periods don't last so do hold hope that they will resolve for you. Just try and do your best to address any of the triggers I mentioned and any others that seem to lead to making them worse and hopefully you can get them to ease up so you feel better. But there are a lot on here who can attest that they are quite challenging to deal with so please do come by to talk if you ever need to. Take care.
Thx michelle .. ita nice to have support from one who knows what I am going throw .. the hulter ahowed 9878 ventricular epic and 20 SV epics .. whith 130893 QRS .. is that too much ... I already started trying to control it but I am not doing good job so far ... thx for suppport :)
You are having a bad case of premature ventricular contractions. They are considered benign in an otherwise healthy heart. That said, if we get a lot of them they can make us feel sick. The important thing is to try and find your biggest triggers and eliminate them as best you can. Diets high in carbohydrates are a big trigger. Acid reflux is a trigger. Electrolyte imbalances can be a trigger. As well the biggie, stress and anxiety. So whatever you do try to relax and breath as calmly and steady as you can to try and calm your heart down. This may help them slow down a bit. If you exercise heavy I might suggest easing up a bit. Your heart is irritated at the moment and could use a good rest. So if you haven't try and address the areas I have mentioned and see if it helps. Everyone gets ectopic beats, most won't feel them at all. Most don't get as many as you get. But at this point in time unless your heart is diseased or you are getting runs of the beats the condition is considered benign so really do your best to take charge of what is going on rather than it taking charge of you. Stay strong and keep us posted on how you are doing.
