Monomorphic ventricular tachycardia diagnosis at 23, metrol side effect?

Im a 23 year old guy that had done sports alll of my life without problems. A couple weeks back i had an episode of racing heart and palpitations that freaked me out so i called 911. Nothing was found and i was discharged but given a monitor to see if i catch anything. Last sunday I had another episode of palpitations that lasted 5 seconds, i got a call from the monitor place and i went to the ER where they told me it was v tach. After 3 days of bein in the hospital, echo, stress test, mri, echo stress tests,  and an ep study everything was normal. They were not able to produce it during the EP study or anything. I was given flecatidine and metropolol to take at home and discharged. Today i noticed that before the first episode i had an allergic reaction the day before and was given medrol at a hospital, the next day i had the palpitations. And before the second episode the day before i again had an allergy so i took medrol at home. I read that medrol could cause iregular heart beats and palpitations. If it was that, and i take the medicines they gave me not needing them, what could happen?
