thank u very much i will try that
Jayson2416 have you tried an anti anxiety med? I tried Lexapro and it seemed to help alittle but others have great success with it and it may help you with your symptoms; if not you may want to ask for a Beta Blocker if you're still having symptoms
good luck, it takes time but will get better
thank you so much! I truly feel it is major panic anxiety... cause ever since this all started abt 3months ago, I freak out any time I get chest pain,... the pain how ever is real and hurts very bad at times... so that part i do not like at all... and all the other left arm pains, and just overall pains that are so hard to describe and pin point... the anxiety lorazepem pills i take do work and calm me down.. its just sometimes i feel like wow is this really anxiety or not.. cause it certainly feels sometimes like my heart is gonna stop or squeeze so tite out of my chest... such a horrid chest pain and scaring feeling when tha happens... so this is all new to me if it is anxiety... and i hate it... and also to MFM, no i have not had those testing done. I go next week to check on the gerd and all that... having the GI testing and so on... so thats the next step... man what a miserable life ive been living notknowing what i truly have these past 3 months... and some people tell me this could last years.... wow
hi i suffer from these horrid pvcs, i went to a and e once because that was the first time id experienced them they scared me that much i dialled the paramedic and they took me in just to be safe.
Anxiety will definitely cause them and make them worse, i can control mine when i get them by ignoring them and dont lat them scare me. Anxiety can cause a number of things such as palpitations, ectopic beats, dizziness, lightheadedness, feeling sick, chest pains ect ect
Anxiety will be making you think there is something up and it doesnt look like there is because you've had every test going.
Get the anxiety treated and you'll feel a lot better
Ever been checked for gallbladder disease? it can cause bad chest pains.
Also GERD can cause acute pain. you can also get esophageal spasms. Its like reverse Irritable Bowel. Your GP needs to check your gallbladder or determine if you have GERD.
So sorry to hear you're suffereing with these horrible symptoms. Pvc's, pac's and other arrythmia's can be difficult to live with and stress or anxiety can only make them worse.
Stress for me is one thing I have to watch. I can tell when I'm getting stressed I get an adrenaline rush and I can feel my heart start beating funky, heart speeds up and I can't breathe, then I have to remind myself to breathe through my nose for 10-15 seconds and exhale for the same time over and over until my ryhthm gets back in control.
Have you had blood tests to make sure all your blood levels and electrolytes are ok? sometimes it's as simple as your dr checking those to see if you need a supplement, or you may need a beta blocker for an arrythmia or SSRi to help with the anxiety issue that worsens what you're feeling.
If it's any consolation, I lived with some crazy something like 50,000 pvc's and not once did I go to the DR or ER for them; you CAN live through them, ignore them and not let them control your life. I still suffer quite a lot even after an ablation, but I try not to panic when they start. I keep a journal of when, how, why what I was doing etc to see if there's a pattern.
If you're still having symptoms, you may want to get checked out completely by a regular physician & cardiologist outside of the ER and let them handle your care - you will find more individualized care than the ER.
I'm sorry to hear how worried you are regarding your symptoms. It appears that you've had the proper tests conducted and so far all appear to show a healthy functioning heart.
Your symptoms do sound likely to be either PAC's or PVC's...but without catching them on a monitor or EKG, I can't say for certain. Has your Dr mentioned doing a Holter Monitor or Event Monitor? If not, you can suggest this option to him/her. It would certainly be worth putting your mind at ease.
As for anxiety causing your problems...Anxiety can do a number on our bodies and is a known trigger to palpatations. Taking the Lorazapem will help decrease your level of anxiety and you may notice your symptoms to lessen in severity.
ALSO FEELS LIKE MY HEART BEATS REALLY HARD, ALMOST TO WHERE IT WANTS TO STOP.. THEN I GET A HEAVY CHEST PAIN IN MIDDLE OF MY CHEST... THAT IS THE LATEST THING GOIN ON... AND OF COURSE WHEN ANYTHING HAPPENS, I PANIC EVEN MORE... IM ON LORAZEPEM AND IBPROFEN, SORRY I CANT SPELL... ANYONE OUT THERE CAN HELP ME? I DONT GET SWEATY, I DONT VOMIT, I DONT GET STOMACH PAINS, JUST THE LEFT ARM , CHEST AND HARD HEART BEATS.. I DONT GET DIZZY, OR ANY OF THE OTHER HEART ATTACK SYMPTOMS.. SO IM SO CONFUSED... PLEASE HELP
