PVCs and exercise?

I had an ablation for SVT just over 6 months ago and was left with pvcs. My cardiologist said 99% of the time they are just annoying and benign. I have started working out finally after my ablation because i need to lose over 100 pounds so far I've lost 25 pounds and I've noticed my pvcs are happening less frequent and when i do happen its just a tiny flutter or bump feeling compared to the huge clunking and fluttering it use to be (knock on wood). Is this possible? I still get them during exercise occasionally usually towards that time of the month (i'm a woman).

Congratulations with your -25 pounds!

The occurrence of PVC's can be influenced by exercise, but also by many other things.

A list I found on how to minimize PVC's said:
1. Get Stress Under Control
2. Eliminate the Stimulants and Other Vices
3. Get Enough Sleep
4. Eat a High Potassium and Magnesium Diet
5. Right amount of Exercise
6. Keep Your Blood Pressure Under Control

So, I guess the answer must be YES! Your exercising has a positive effect on your PVC.

Dr. Day's blog is great and his suggestions apply to other bad heart beat problems as well.
