Thanks JK, you make me feel a lot better. Did they tell you anything about your Thyroid or nerve damage from birth? The ER doc said that those were the only 2 things that he could think of that would keep the beets low and my vitals ok. Did you have an Epidural? I also read something about the Epidural causing low blood pressure and such. I wonder how long that stuff can stay in your system or the effects can effect your system. I just got done doing an hour of yoga and it did go up just fine. Thanks for the comfort.

I had that same problem after I had my daughter. It lasted several months. My doctor said as long as it went up during exercise or just doing normal activities around the house that he wasn't concerned. I felt just like you did. I was really freaking out. First I always had a high pulse then after Karlie was born, here it was beating 50 or under. I think part of it was anxiety from the new baby and the vaso vagal response to it. Instead of beating faster, it decided to beat slower and harder. Yuck, I hated it. If your doctors tell you not to worry then just try and enjoy your new baby. It could be stress and hormonal changes that are causing this. That is what I decided anyway. It does go away.
Take care

Touch base with your OB/GYN or your personal physician and let him/her know you have some concerns. An HR of 45 is not uncommon during sleep, but it low during waking hours, especially since you feel faint on occasion.
