Premature Ventrical Contractions

I have been prescribed to Flecinide because of very frequent PVC'S like 10-13 per min. All day except when I fall asleep. My EP docter told me I had two options. 1) Ablation 2) Medicine to surpress these darn things. He said that because te PVC's that I am having look to be in a tough spot to ablate at this time that Flecinide would be better for me. So I took the Flecinide and still am taking it 6 months later. My life is completly back with no PVC's at all. Man it feels good but after talking with several people is Flecinide worth the risks. My heart is structualy normal but now I am worried about what the medicine will do to me. I also run 3 miles a day and sometimes feel bad after excersise light headed etc. Just wanted to see if anyone else is taking this or knows anything about it.

Thanks for the comment I guess taking it for 17 years would be considered a long time. That is great to hear Thanks.

I have been taking Flecainide 150 mg twice a day for 17 years for pvc`s and short runs of v-tach.  It has worked pretty good for me and I do not have any real complaints yet.
