What you're describing sounds like normal cardiac response. This is due to hydrostatic influences acting mainly, through the carotid sinus reflex. The carotid sinus is sort of like a sampling area in your body for maintaining blood pressure. When you're seated, or laying down, it take a considerably less effort for your heart to circulate blood throughout your body. Your body's response to positional changes can vary from hour to hour and day to day. In fact, I would think that no reponse, ie. increased heart rate from gross positional changes in you body would be a problem. Sounds normal to me.
I think you've stumped everybody with your question. Normally somebody posts some kind of reply within a day or so.
You might have POTS, but something is telling me this is not the right call.
You say you have been worrying about your health? How much? Are/were you depressed? Stress hormones could be messing with you.
Are you very very active? Too much exercise can cause a high heart rate. You could rest in this case. Otherwise, maybe you need to get back to exercise. Unless you had a good reason to stop.
When I feel depressed I dont feel real great. PVC's and every little thing seems to get away from me. I know that I seem to do alot better if I stay in my normal routine, or get back to it, if I have been away from it. I do have tea or coffee if I feel fatigued. Some caffeine (careful, not too much, tea is better) helps lift my spirit.
