Hi Jackie I had my ablation on the 10th and I just feel horrible.. pressure in my chest and very sore I'm told this is normal were you told the same or somewhat similar?
Thank you for getting back to me. I must say I'm shocked the dr's left your details out.. I'm a hairstylist who at times can put in up to 70 hrs a week, but I had to slow down prior to the ablation and I do feel exactly the same as I did before the ablation. And driving not so comfy..
The 10th? That was Friday. Heck yeah, you're going to feel not 100% Go to Wikipedia and look up "Hematoma", The picture shown was how my bruise looked except it was on the inside of my leg. I had a lump about the size of a half orange. It broke and drained into my leg, and took about 2 months to disappear It drained all the way down to my knee. You'll walk with a limp for a couple of weeks, and it's not uncommon to feel occasional wave of passing achiness in your chest. I had mine done on a Thursday and was back to work by Wednesday. You're going to feel the after effects for a year or more. If you're not already feeling, it's no uncommon for the heart to become a bit jumpy during the healing process. You may swear that the procedure was a failure, and that you're worse off now than before. Then it will begin to settle down. It too me over a year before I stopped getting little 6-12 beat runs of SVT. Hang in there as it will get better.
