Hey Jana! Today was a okay day,had class and right in the middle of class, my heart started acting strange :( Scared me once again but did get through class, yay! Since I last wrote, I was able to get another 30 day event monitor, so we'll see if they can "catch" one of my episodes.....
How did your doctors visit go today? Hope everything went well!
God Bless,
Julie
Wishing you the best of results on your visit with your doctor today.
We all look forward to reading some satisfying news.
Thanks for the reply jsuter69!Yes it's very scary!I also get them standing to long and bending over.I get them laying on my sides to when I go to bed,But what I've been feeling the last week is not what I'm used to.I go see my heart doctor today and hopefully get some answers.I'm having a hard time sleeping at night from being so nervous and scared of the next time this will happen.Ill keep you posted and I hope your feeling better!
I too get the lovely PVC's ,PAC's and have SVT, so I understand where you are coming from, I've just spent the whole weekend practically in bed, because, I can be fine sometimes just waking up,feeling good, and if I'm standing to long, bending over, or if I'm minding my own business, the irregular heartbeats just start coming, it's extremely scary, and very depressing, especially when "they" tell you that you are okay, that's easy for them to say......I'll keep you in my prayers....I know how scary it can be;)
Well they tell me that the long LQTS only happens to me induced with meds. They found that in my ablation procedure so they tell me I'm ok with that.My event monitor showed pvc's and pac's and some small runs of vt,but they said it was nothing to worry about. What I've been feeling the last few days I never had before so I'm going to call the doctor monday morning and get in to see him.I've been smoking for a few years now and I'm wondering if this might be causing this problem all of a sudden.Whatever it is I know is very scarey. Thanks for the reply!
Hi Jana...
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling scared. Was anything discovered when you had the event monitor back in January?
Your profile includes a history of LQTS, what is being done to treat this? Anytime you start experiencing syncopal(fainting) episodes related to a rhythm disurbance, it needs to be evaluated. Going to the emergency room, now that it's happening during the weekend, is probably the best choice. You could always call the answering service covering your cardiologist's practice to request a call from the Dr who's covering to see if an ER visit is warranted.
Please let us know how you make out:)
