Stomach bug and tachycardia?

I had an ablation for svt back 8 months ago and I'm a major hypochondriac which doesn't help. I still can't convince myself svt is gone. It's hard doing cardio workouts i have panic attacks but i still force myself. I caught a stomach bug yesterday because i started having a stomach ache and threw up 5 times and now i'm not throwing up no fever but still tired. I noticed my heart rate is a little faster than normal at rest I'm on atenolol for a faster resting heart rate so it's usually around 60 and now its around 70 80 bpm. When i stand it shoots up to another 115 120 and i feel light headed like usual when your sick when you finally get up. I'm having some anxiety over the heart rate though because i did keep my atenolol down last night. Is that normal?

It's perfectly normal for your heart rate to go up a little when you are sick.  You may be a little dehydrated too, which can also raise your heart rate.  Just try to drink plenty of fluids and rest until you are feeling better.  I'm sure your heart rate will go back to normal.
