My whole life I have been very healthy, including diet and athletics. One day I noticed my chest was feeling funny, and I felt my heart rythm was irregular this laster for about one minute, I ignored it and continued on as normal. Then a month or two later. I caught a very bad tummy bug which left me bed ridden for a few days, I was unable to hold liquid in my body and was severely dehydrated. After I got better, a week later I had felt my heart feeling weird again, this time it lasted over 5 minutes so I decided to go into A&E. I went to the hospital and they told me I was in Atrial Fibrilation (AF), they wanted to do a cardioversion to shock my heart back to sinus rhythm, but I didn't want to do this because I thought if it went back into rhythm before, then I would rather find out what was causing it before doing a procedure like that. Fortunately after being in AF for a bit over 4 hours, my heart went back into sinus rythm on its own. around two months later I went into AF again for about 4 hours and then went back into sinus rythm. Ever since first going to the hospital, my chest has not felt the same since, and I can constantly feel the presence of my heart, My blood pressure often goes quite high and have noticed my heart beat is alot louder and stronger. I have trouble sleeping sometimes from the chest pain. I also occasionaly get a hot sensation in my finger tips and toes, along side pain on one side of my body and numbness in my face and lips. What has made me concernd now is the formation of a blood clot on my pinky finger on my left hand, and I noticed pain in that arm the day before. I was not in AF when I got the blood clot so I am worried there is an underlying problem were AF is just the occasional symptom of it. My blood test when I first went to hospital showed normal levels of everything, including thyroid. I also occasionaly get dizzy and nearly faint while doing nothing, (no sudden movements, just pure random feeling) and I ocassionaly get weird sharp headaches and heart pains, I also sometimes get woken up when nearly fallin asleep by a sudden hard beat of my heart. Sorry this is very long but I have not gotten any useful information and I am worried that a blood clot could form in my heart and travel to other organs and possibly have a stroke.
Thank you
