how many pvc's recorded on your latest holter?

So I have a question.  I'm going through a rough period with pvc's again.   Real bummer because the last 19 months have been tolerable.  I'm thinking if everyone posts how many pvc's their last holter recorded that it might help my piece of mind.   I just hate these things.
My last holter recorded 288 pvc's.  I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but they come in clusters so it feels like a lot more.  When they start up, they are with me for a couple of hours.  beat, beat, pause, beat, beat, beat, beat, pause, beat, beat, beat, pause, beat, pause etc.   They are all over the place. Then I get relief for a while, then the same thing for a couple of hours.
So I am just curious, because I know a lot of you have had many more recorded but were they in clusters like that?

Jodie I know these aren't easy for you to deal with especially when they come in clusters.  I can't give rhyme or reason for mine or what even started all my problems; who knows and even dr's haven't found the reason, I think they are just as confused as we patients are and there are no easy answers.

April 2007 I don't know the amount but EKG said "frequent" & bigeminy; June 2009-August 2009 I have roughly 50,000 pvc's; ablation, no pvc's but pac's and PSVT, slowly they returned until December 2009 I had over 10,000 again but I don't after that because I haven't had another holter done.  I do notice alot more in my throat now than I did before surgery and it feels like a "lump" (don't know another word for it) each time I have one.

I had over 4,000 in 24 hours, but tonight I must be having a lot more. Im not good at math so maybe I am wrong, but right now I am having 20-30 per min. that I can feel in my chest and the pause on my wrist. Not fun at all.

Your story is close to my story.  My heart skips and racing started when I was a senior in high school.  First it was just episodes of a racing heart.  Then my heart seemed to just get "stuck" beating 100 beats or higher.
PVC's developed in my late 20's.  I started taking 1/4 of a 25mg of atenolol and that worked like a charm up until a couple of years ago.
When I say it worked like a charm, I mean that my pvc's and pat was tolerable.  I would feel a handful sometimes more a day but they didn't go on and on for hours like they do now.  My doctor just increased it to 1/2 of a 25mg in the am and 1/2 in the pm.  I have noticed a difference but they STILL come in clusters for hours.  Just not as pronounced.  I do have many hours without them so I guess I should consider myself lucky.
I also feel lucky that I was able to control them on just 1/4 of a 25mg of atenolol for almost 20 years.  My problem is mental for sure.  When I start to feel them and they keep on going for a while, I think great there is one, then oh great another one and so on.  Mentally I can't believe that it isn't going to harm me because it isn't natural.
I feel very tired as well when they continue on for hours.
Good luck to you too.

Hi there.. I totally understand your feelings. I have been dealing with arrhythmias since I was 21 and I'm now 51, and the older I get the more frequent they seem to occur. I have had many studies which all come back normal, and they say that this is all electrical. I experience episodes of bigeminy (every other beat is pvc), sometimes couplets and triplets (two or three in a row) to the point where I will feel extremely lightheaded. At this point they don't want to do anything about it other than increase my beta-blockers that I have been on since age 21 for my arrhythmias. They don't want to do anything about it until I start having runs of V-tach. When I'm having a lot of them in a minute, I feel very fatigue and my breathing is uncomfortable. By the way your describing yours, it doesn't sound like your having too many within a minutes time, and I'm told that it is quite common to have mild amounts of them. If you start experiencing them more often, you might suggest to your doctor possible medications to calm them down a bit. Good luck to you and hang in there.
